Development of methods for removal and transformation of toxic elements from contaminated rock environment. The objective is the selective extraction of toxic elements with an over-limit concentration depending on the contamination. By analysing bacterial activity under laboratory and natural conditions, the factors of selective mobility of toxic elements will be determined depending on the composition of the medium and the possibility of their use as a combination of biological and chemical remediation of the contaminated environment. Toxic elements released into the leachate will be during the subsequent sorption and precipitation processes concentrated on mineral biofilters with the possibility of recycling aiming to develop the integrated bioremediation technology.
