The State Geological Institute of Dionýz Štúr in Bratislava has the honor of organizing the 21st Slovak – Czech – Polish Paleontological Conference, which will be held from 23 to 25 May, 2022. The conference supports the development of paleontological research by maintaining contacts between various scientific centers, including universities and research institutes. Joint meetings of paleontologists take place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, enabling rapid exchange of information, verification and comparison of the results. The scientific level of the event is increased by the publication of the conference proceedings. The conference will include a one-day excursion to the classic localities of the Western Carpathians (Slovakia) from the Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras.
