On 11-14 April 2018, the CONECO – RACIOENERGIA – WATER Fair was held in Bratislava. Our Institute was represented at the stand of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic.
The main topics presented at the fair were regional geology, minerals, geology, hydrogeology and geothermal energy, geoanalytical laboratories, map portal, geological publications produced by SGIDŠ publishers and other activities.
The general public had an opportunity to become familiar with the collections of the SGIDŠ – paleontological and mineralogical specimens, samples of meteorites, hydrogeological demonstrations of water action in nature and other attractions. Interested people were given promotional material about our activities and children were given matching cards, samples of minerals and other gifts. The interest in the activity of our institute was great, with an estimated visit of about 300 active visitors.
